Project Description
The company wants to start a major DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION project with a view to ‘INDUSTRY 4.0’, equipping itself with innovative hardware and software technologies for the design and production area. The technologies will be integrated and interconnected with the company’s information systems and will make it possible to monitor and optimise any business process. Specialised advice will also be provided to analyse and optimise business processes, reducing inefficiencies and information gaps. The project will also see an increase in employment, with the activation of 1 trainee who will subsequently be hired on a permanent basis. In addition, an enhancement of existing skills and professionalism is planned, with the activation of specific training courses and/or thematic seminars. Investment: € 129,600 Contribution: € 57,160.
Objectives
The overall objective is to transform the company into a SMART & DIGITAL FACTORY, characterised by efficient and flexible processes, which will make it capable of easily meeting any market requirement. To do this, the company intends to equip itself with the following Industry 4.0 technologies
Production business intelligence software
It is an IT platform capable of providing management (management, sales manager, purchasing manager, production manager, etc.) with all the information needed to analyse performance and criticalities in the production process and to intervene promptly to resolve any anomalies, thus improving company performance (cost containment, product quality, compliance with delivery times, etc.).
Mark two' 3D printer
It is a powerful 3D printer for prototyping and manufacturing components.
Inventor' 3D design software
It is one of the world’s most widely used 3D CAD software, and offers highly professional and high-performance tools for modelling parts and assemblies, simulation and design rendering.
Status proline300 laser measurer
It is a sophisticated laser instrument for checking the quality of the final product.
